Queen Becomes a “Friend”

Imagine getting a friend request from the icon of England, Queen Elizabeth II. The Associated Press is reporting that just hours after the Queen joined Facebook, her page had 60,000 fans.

The Queen’s page is being used as a tool to help inform the public of the on goings of the Monarchs. But she’s not fraternizing with the common folk, they’ll be no “poking” or “friending” the Queen. You can, however, “Like” her page and even leave comments.
So far, the Queen has 27,489 “Likes”… and counting…

17 Swedish Artists Bring Unique Style to San Diego

There’s still time to see some of Sweden’s finest design work. The 17 Swedish Artists exhibited by Pascale Cottard-Olsson. The exhibit is now in San Diego at the new Planet Rooth Design Haus. The young, progressive artwork features: ceramics, furniture and textiles, in black and white with some bright accents, express form, function, quality and a feeling of desire and self-indulgence.

ArtPulse.TV producer, Phoebe Chongchua, takes us inside the new gallery for a one-on-one tour with artist/owner, Gustaf Rooth. He tell us the exhibit is based on the book and the installation displays the various individual designers’ recent work.
